
An American classic since 1917, Radio Flyer represents adventure, fun, tradition and quality. Growing up with a Radio Flyer red wagon is a time honored tradition, and many parents identify with Radio Flyer as the "brand I trust".
More recently, the company has leveraged their brand to extend the Radio Flyer product family to include trikes, bikes, and ride-ons. This being the case, a Radio Flyer stroller would be a natural extension to an impressive product line. But the company needed to understand how a Radio Flyer stroller would fit into an already crowded marketplace.
Wayfinder used primary and secondary research methods to conduct a broad survey of strollers. The findings were filtered, organized and visualized in a market map. The strategic points of entry were quickly identified, enabling the team to create compelling stroller designs that fit the specific needs of each entry point.
